TVShows for OS X allows you to keep track of Heroes, The Closer and Lost without needing a TV. Simply navigate through the intuitive interface, select the shows you want and TVShows will scour the interweb grabbing either every new episode or all episodes. Its up to you.

Launch Script Editor.
Type mount volume “smb://server/share” for the share you want to mount.
Save the code as an application.
Add the application to your System Accounts Login Items.
This will now mount your samba volume at each reboot. I havent tested if it will automount out of hibernation though.
